CLASSPLAYBOOK RESOURCES

Your first screen doesn’t need everything.

Build a small classroom screen you can use tomorrow, then add tools as you need them.

1. Choose the class you are teaching

Sign in and select the classroom you want to prepare. Start with a simple screen so you can check what students will see. If you’re exploring before signing up, use the guided demo from the homepage.

2. Add the information students need first

Use Learning Objectives for the lesson target and Supplies for materials or a short instruction. Add a Timer for the first task. Keep the wording brief enough to read from the back of your room.

For example: “Compare two ways to solve the problem,” “Notebook, page 12,” and a five-minute starter. Replace these examples with your own lesson content.

3. Check the actual classroom display

Open presentation mode and check that text is readable, controls are reachable, and your media loads. Try one interaction on the smart board if you use touch. Test on the device and network you will teach with, not only on your laptop at home.

4. Invite students to one activity

Start a Live Response activity and test its current join link or code with one device. Brain Breaks offers separate optional student joining for Draw & Guess and This or That. Use the address shown by the activity you opened.

5. Prepare tomorrow’s content

Use the lesson planner to organize your next lesson. Check preloaded content before presenting it. Keep private roster details off any screen you intend to share publicly.

Next: choose a screen layout recipe or get setup help.
