Authenticated teacher accounts
Teacher workspaces, saved classes, rosters, layouts, billing, and account settings require an authenticated teacher session.
How access is designed

Limited student participation
Students do not receive teacher accounts or dashboards. They may only join a teacher-launched Live Response activity with its temporary code or link.

Encrypted connections
ClassPlaybook is delivered over HTTPS so information is encrypted while traveling between supported browsers and the service.

Access controls
Backend access rules are used to limit authenticated data operations to the appropriate account and supported public activity flows.
Good security is shared
Teachers should use unique passwords, protect account access, sign out of shared devices, and enter only classroom information needed for their work. Schools should apply their own privacy, retention, and acceptable-use requirements.
Report a security concern
Include the affected page, steps to reproduce, and the impact. Do not include student data or publish an active vulnerability.
